Czech Tour and Peace Race: We have the dates for 2024!

The dates are confirmed! The largest domestic stage race, the Czech Tour, will take place from 25th to 28th July, and the Peace Race U23 will take place two months earlier, from 30th May to 2nd June. Cycling fans can thus look forward to seeing international cycling on the Czech roads next year too.

“Arriving at suitable dates was not totally easy as 2024 is the year of the Paris Olympics. However, I am convinced that we have succeeded in securing suitable dates and that we will again attract elite riders and teams. We are planning some new things which we will reveal over time,” said the director of both races, Leopold König.

It will be a challenge to better last year. In 2023 four-time winner of the Tour de France, Chris Froome, was on the starting list along with three World Tour teams: Jumbo-Visma, BORA – hansgrohe and Intermarché–Circus–Wanty.

Awaiting the younger riders is a four-stage race at the end of May/beginning of June. The Peace Race U23 is typically a test of endurance and fitness of cycling talents wanting to bridge the gap to the absolute elite. Past editions of the race have seen the likes of Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard, current stars of the international peloton, compete in the Czech Republic. In 2024 too, fans can look forward to seeing riders who will, in the future, make history on the World Tour.
